Could it be in free-wheel mode. Most Prides have a pull up knob at the rear of the scooter.

Please check near the rear to ensure the the scooter is in gear. There should be a switch that needs to be moved up/down. Let me know if this is not the issue.
Good Luck!

SOURCE: Pride Legend 3-wheel scooter. I

Hi,

This problem can be caused by a faulty signal from the throttle lever to the processor due to an intermittent failure of the throttle lever or the temperature switch for the motor is showing an "over heat " condition & the processor shuts down the system , until the switch is cycled. This will need to be checked & tested by a technician to verify the problem for repair.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Have a jet 3 ultra that wont go in reverse

Check the battery level of the scooter. If the battery is low, it may not have enough power to move in reverse.
Check the freewheel lever. If it is engaged, the scooter will not move in reverse.
Check the wiring connections between the motor and the controller. Loose or damaged connections can cause issues with reversing.
Check the motor brushes. Worn brushes can cause issues with reversing.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be necessary to contact a repair technician for further assistance.

My Kymco mobility scooter is flashing 7 times .i see a answer is the drive lever is not engaged ,what is the drive lever

The drive lever on a Kymco mobility scooter is the lever that engages the motor and allows the scooter to move forward or backward. It is usually located on the handlebars of the scooter and can be controlled by the user. If the drive lever is not engaged properly, the scooter may not function correctly and could result in the flashing 7 times error code. You should consult your user manual or a certified Kymco dealer for more information on how to engage the drive lever correctly.

Drive Royale Electric Mobility/Golf Scooter.

Question edited to remove all the abbreviations, and add 'make model (what it is)'.
Question moved from Cars and Trucks to one of the Mobility Scooter categories.

Yes, switches can go bad, but first, try disconnecting the batteries overnight in the hope that the control board has just got confused and needs resetting.

My craftsman riding mower will not go into toward to reverse vise versa while motor is running

You didn't express whether, this tractor was a manual transmission or a transaxle type. If it's a transaxle type, then there is a shift handle on right side of the tractor. The position of the shift handle operates a module reverse switch assembly,in three positions(forward, reverse and neutral) This module has a safety switch located inside. This module is in a bad place.under the fender, where it can be subjected to water, dirt and vibration. Like most safety switches installed, they have a large failure rate. This maybe your problem. The module has only two screws holding it in place, you will have to remove it,to check the safety switch. The module and the switch are all in one,if the switch is bad you will have to purchase the module. This is just one answer that could be wrong with the tractor, not moving forward or reverse. The other, the prime mover belt is bad. This belt runs from the transaxle to the bottom of the motor's upper pulley. This belt stretches, over time and will cause the tractor not to move in any direction. If this is the case, there is no adjustment that can be made. Only a new belt will solve this. Remember the little handle,in the back of the tractor has't to be in (engaged) out (disengaged) the transaxle (transmission). When the handle is out,the transmission is disengaged, used when towing or pushing the tractor by hand. I know this answer,is rather long, but important to your question. Sincerely,Brad Locke 11/23/15

Scooter won't move when forward/reverse engaged.

From:

Engage the freewheel lever
- allows you to operate the mobility equipment with the standard controls.
Disengage the freewheel lever - This unlocks the unit and allows the wheels to spin freely. You can easy push the equipment without power. This is especially helpful if you run out of battery power and need assistance.

Beeper sounds as soon asyou press forward or reverse will not drive brake engaged tthis is the same sound if you tried to move with the brake disengaged.

This could be the break micro switch or the wiring in the motor brake loom. check all connections in this area. You do not say what make or model this is ? !
