SOURCE: i want an instruction manual

Sorry no manuals for that brand of telescope on the internet. However Bushnell has a web site with their manuals. Find one that is similar to your scope here:
http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-warranty.html

They all assemble in a similar fashion.

Meade 50az p175 power telescope manual. I bought this model telescope at a garage sale and it didn't come with a manual.

Hi please find above a link where you can download a manual. Often a direct approach to the manufacturer or agent or a Google search may yield a manual. So if this one isn't what you need, please go to the Meade website and contact them and ask for one i am sure they will be only too happy to help.

Hi, Hope you can help me. My husband has a vivitar series 1 -50600 telescope and seems to work fine apart from the view is upside down. We have tried moving everything that moves, lol but cannot change it....

Astronomical telescopes usually show an upside down image. There is a good reason for this- erecting the image needs more bits of glass in the light path, which reduces the amount of light and increases aberrations. Even if this is only slight, astronomers prefer to avoid it, and they don't really care which way up the Moon or Jupiter appear. It is possible to fit an erecting prism or eyepiece to most astronomical telescopes, and some of them come with one.

I have a Vivitar Telescope 60x/120x VIV-50600. Once I locate the object with the scope finder and I try to view it through the bigger lens nothing is focused. I have tried using the adjuster and nothing...

The only thing I can think to ask is whether you have fitted an eyepiece (NOT the barlow lens, if it came with one). Eyepieces are small lenses marked with a focal length (in mm, like 20mm or 9mm). They fit into the part that does the focussing, and are held by a small screw that you tighten with your fingers. If you have fitted an eyepiece and it still won't focus then I don't understand what is going on.

I would suggest that this is one of those problems best sorted by an experienced person physically present.

I have sent the following to Vivitar but had no response are you able to point me in the right direction please my email address is : [email protected] Dear Sir/Madam For Xmas I gave my Father a Vivitar...

I know you are missing this eyepiece. However you will probably NEVER be able to use it. This is a 60mm refractor not much larger than a pair of 10x50mm binoculars. ONLY under perfect sky conditions will you get 120 power from that telescope. The other eyepiece is the one you should use.

Read my TIPS on my profile page.

Can see any thing vivitar Please Help frustrated and confused

Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the "diagonal" that came with the telescope. DO NOT use the 2x barlow if you have one.

Go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object. The moon should be your first night time target.

We have the pink twinstar model 50600 telescope 50mm and lost the instructions prior to using. Is there anywhere online we can get instructions on how to use it as we can't seem to figure it out at all.

This is a refractor telescope. Download a manual from Meade. They all work about the same way.

Look under REFRACTOR:

Need owners manual for edu science 4.5 inch 600 power reflector telescope

You probably will not find a manual for that scope. However Meade maintains a web site with all of their telescope manuals. Look under 4.5 inch REFLECTOR and find one similar to your telescope. They all work in a similar fashion.
