How to set up

Take the remote to where you bought it and see if it works on the same set there---if new this is covered by the warranty---remote can be tested to KNOW if its the problem or not.

Set could also have a problem with the remote receiver in the front of it being bad or the lens for it being covered.

the chip on the key is probly worn--the computers not recognizing it--may also hav bad ignition lock on the colum---------get a new set made if its the rite key set--yull need a spare anyway

I'm a sprinkler contractor and as far as I know that controller has not been manufactured for many years. Set the small dials for the time that you want each zone to run. Set pins on days you want to water. Set a pin on the start time for the cycle that includes all zones. Set the time and day and hope all of the motors work.

I presume that your internet was working fine before you bought your new laptop. Unless you've done something to change it it should still be working as before.
You shouldn't need a CD - if you think about it you don't need a CD when you log in in Starbucks so why should you need one at home?
The only thing you need to know is the router's wireless name; Talktalk 12345etc, and its password - which is the password your son is using.
I can't explain why you can't connect when your son is connected - as the router should be able to host 253 laptops (very very slowly mind) - unless the router has been set with an access list that only allows his laptop to connect.

you bought new the games, but you do not though has a problem.. even that new not mean is working,,you dont know some problem for the data or installer.. you shold test first if this working or not.....
