GE 5 Cycle Automatic Heavy Duty Extra Large loud noise

All ge dryers have a center bearing on the back side of the drum and drum glides on the frontside. The glides make a scrubbing sound when bad and the drum is hard to turn. The rear bearing does a squeak thang when the plastic bearing wears thin and begins to make metal to metal contact between drum mount and rear bulkhead mount. It is an easy fix but the drum gotta come out. here is my pictorial page that shows how with videos and repair pix:

My ge profile dpsf495ew dryer is make a squeaking noise

It's the drum bearing . It's in the back of the drum but it can only be accessed from the front. It's regular wear and tear that causes this usually. It's a pretty tough job for someone that has not done it before.

New GE Profile Dryer makes intermittent loud squeeking or rubbing

Your drum may be out of round. The drum belt on the outside of the drum may be rubbing against the cabinet. When the cabinet heats up, the side walls of the cabinet may be bowing inward, thus making contact with the belt on the drum. This would explain why it is intermittant. When the heater turns off, the cabinet cools and the sides bow back out.

My GE Profile DPSE810 Electic Dryer has started making a scraping noise when the drum rotates. What could be causing the scraping? It makes the noise even if I take out all the clothes and there is nothing...

Told by several GE Service Techs that the noise is normal metal expansion & nothing can be done. Anyone else have this issue?
First dryer in over 40 years we ever heard this type of noise.
