How to add skype onto phone - HTC Touch P3450 Smartphone

Hello,

if you are probably trying to cal your friends out of skype, so you need skype credit to call outside. Just in case you add your friends(who are on skype too) to skype, you can call for free.

You can add contact following these steps:

In the menu bar, click Contacts > Add a Contact.

Enter the Email, Phone number, Full name or skype name(if you already know your friend's name on skype) of the person you want to add. If the Skype account of the person you wish to add is displayed, click Add below the contact.

If more than one Skype account matches your search:
Click View for a list of matching Skype accounts and click Add contact next to the one you wish to add. Before the contact can be added, you must send a contact request to that person. Enter some text to introduce yourself and click Send request. The contact will be added to your contact list, but will appear offline until they accept your request. Once the person agrees to your request, they will be added to your Contact list. Then you can make free calls and free video calls to that person.

It should be as simply as downloading a widget or similar program, and installing it onto your phone. Its probably going to be java basedor something similar, so what you will need to do is firstly download samsung phone tools; this is the interface between your phone and computer and allows both devices to communicate with each other.

Once you have the method for getting the program onto your phone, you will now need to get the program in question downloaded, and my best advice is to use your phone directly and download the application using the phone directly through WAP. Or alternatively and as mentioned in top paragraph, you can download it via a computer and use that to donkey it to your phone.

Looking at these, particularly the skype links, they appear to be delivered straight to the mobile phone, I know from the last link that this is the case, as skype ask you to enter your mobile number into a small window.

you cannot use skype directly frm this mobile.. so download " nimbuzz " for mobile.. install it and create a new id in that .. then log into nimbuzz .. in that go to " ADD A CONTACT " .. then it will ask frm which u want to add ( facebook , gtalk , msn , skype , YM ) which ever u want select it and enter your id and pass of it ... it will add those contact to ur nimbuzz.. and u can chat with them through nimbuzz :)

Search your email contacts to see who's on Skype:

Click the Directory tab and click the link See friends who are already on Skype.
You'll see an Add contacts screen.

Under Check your email contacts, click in the checkbox(es) beside the email accounts you have.
If you have a Yahoo account, type in your username and password then click Search email contacts.
Skype uses your Yahoo login to check if your contacts are on Skype - it never saves it, ever.

Wait for Skype to search your contacts.
If Skype finds a match, it will list the friends who also use Skype.

Click in the checkbox beside the people you want to talk to on Skype.
Then click Add contact.

Write an introduction message so they know who you are.
Click OK to send. Depending on their security, you can IM them. When they accept your invitation, you will be able to see when they are online and call them, too.
Add a specific person:

Click the Directory tab and go to Find people.

Click in the box and type in their name, email address or Skype Name.
Click Search. Wait for Skype to search.

In the list, find the person you're looking for. Check details like location and click this icon to double check it's them.
Click on them, then click Add contact. This will open a Say hello window.

Click in the message box and type an introduction message so they know who you are.
Click OK to send. When they accept your invitation, you will be able to see when they are online and call them, too.
Add a phone or mobile number:

Click New and choose New Contact.

Find the link Save a phone number in your contact list.
Click on it. This opens an Add a contact window.

In this window, enter the person's name, select Home, Office, Mobile or the other options from the dropdown list, then click on the flag to choose the country they are in.
Click in the box beside the flag and type in the phone number.

Check it. If it's correct, click Save phone number.
This saves the number in your Contact list.

Skype is a great way to communicate.. I prefer it over other programs as it better suits a traveling person.

1. Open a Skype Account. Go to www.skype.com
2. (Computer->Computer) Search for your friends online. Add them by (Contacts / Add Contact). This is a free service
3. (Computer->Phone). This is called SKYPE OUT. You can dial any fixed or mobile phone anywhere around the world if you add credit in your SKYPEOUT account (go to www.skypeout.com). Paypal and Credit card are supported. You can either add 10 EURO or 25 EURO at one time. Calls are cheap (depending on country), and are relatively comparable to IP cards. Remember to dial the country prefix!
4. (Phone->Computer). This is called SKYPE IN. This is a VERY convenient service. SKYPE IN (www.skypein.com)allows you to reserve a phone number in a country of choice. The cost is 30 EURO a year, or 10 EURO for 3 months. This allows you to hand out a local number to friends / work collegues in a different country (so they are charged only a local call), and when they call you, your SKYPE on your computer will ring (no matter where you are in the world!). This is handy if you want to have a number on your business card for a country that you do not reside. The only cost to you is the yearly rental of the number, and the caller is charged a normal phone call charge.

Things You'll Need:

• You'll need a Headset with a Microphone. The best to use is a set with the TWO plugs (microphone and speaker). Avoid the USB type headset (these can be painful when trying to remove the device). Th
• You'll also need a Credit Card if you want to use SKYPEIN or SKYPEOUT
• A computer! Preferably a newer computer with a better-than-modem connection.
• Optional - WebCam. Version 2.0 and later supports video. Although not particularly flash - its still pretty cool (remember you'll need a fast internet connection for video)

As far as i understood it's a issue happening in internet explorer. If so try to remove the Skype IE Add On..
