My manual focus ring is so tight that I can barely focus. Is there any way to lubricate or loosen this ring short of sending it out to Nikon for repair?

I'm assuming this is a DSLR camera and not a point-and-shoot. If the camera body is not set for manual focus, the focus ring on the lens will not turn.

I cant focus my a4 tech webcam pk-335mb

All webcams have a ring around the lens. If you rotate this ring then you would be able to focus on to an object. Try rotating it both clock and anti clock wise to focus.

I want to change two belts (A/C and Alternator) on my 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage 1.5 car. What steps I am suppose to do.

First, feel the tightness of your belts. You will have to tighten the new belts to the proper tightness. If they are too tight, they will wear the bearings prematurely. If they are too loose, they will slip.

Alternator Belt Removal

  1. Loosen the alternator lock nut.
  2. Loosen the adjuster bolt.
  3. Rotate the adjuster bolt counter clockwise to release the tension on the belt.
  4. Remove the belt.
Similarly for the compressor belt

7. Tighten the lock bolt.

8. Install the new alternator belt

Problem with my webcam device ''Micro Pack''

There is something known as focusing. I am sure you are aware of the phenomenon. Someone or you have inadvertently rotated the ring around the lens and changed the focus of the camera. So now all you have to do is to start the camera and sit in front of it and rotate the ring around the lens clockwise and anticlockwise till you get a perfect picture of yourself. Rotate the ring slowly so that you can concentrate on your picture's clarity and focusing.

Canon lins

This is normal. The zoom ring will stop at each end of the zoom range, but the focus ring will rotate freely, there is no "end" or "stop" to the focus ring.

Dropped the lens, nothing broke but focus ring came undone

This will need technical service eventually. Try temporary solution with Sellotape or similar
