Rc car running

The rc car runs if you hold it off the ground but when you put it back on the ground it jerks and does'nt run

Have you got a new battery pack, is it getting fully charged, are you using the right charger, is the esc set up properly. How long since you last used the batteries because if you have not used them for a while..more than a few months, each individual cell within your pack could be faulty due to letting them discharge below a given cell voltage. your peak detection charger will charge them up ( maybe ) but get a false peak detection cut off reading and only rapid charge them for part of a charge required on an OK pack. good luck :)

Hey Steve, if you need a jump to start it then every thing is working except battery holding power try putting battery on a SLOW charge for a day then try again when its running check output of altinator with a fully charged battery it should be 12.5-13.5 volts and rise when you rev motor up ,when you jump it im thinking the battery is very low and the altinator is trying to recharge battery and it cant do that in just a few minutes running time or take it on along ride and watch amp gauge .good luck Steve.

Causes car jerk
Car needs to warm up properly so that the automatic choke disengages completely,
After allowing the car to run at idle for a minute or two,
Give the accelerator pedal a quick push to about 1/3 throttle,
Idle speed should drop back to normal running speed and the car drive properly

How to install this kit
Ok you would run your power(red) wire to your car battery ( ). You would run your remote(blue) wire to the remote wire in the back of your headunit. Same with your terminal/ audio wires. Finally you find a good ground for your black(-). Ex. My ground is the bolt to hold my back seats in. You just need it to connect to ur car body.
