The 0101 error in sp540 is the Limit Position Initialize has not been done. you find videos on you tube that can help you to do the limit position operation. (you have to enter in Service Mode Menu) its easy to do it yourself. i hope this help.

Roland Versacamm sp540v is not printing yellow or magenta. What could be causing this? We were out of town and it wasn't used for a few weeks.

your print head dry out, cause is: no use! you should detach the tube between the pump and the caps, the one of magenta and yellow, insert a seringe in the tube (that comes from the cap) and suck some cc´s of ink, .then atatch the tube again and run one or two powerful cleanings, then run the test. A smart advise is: never turn off the machine in the main power, the machine when in stand by, does automatic a check and a cleaning process from time to time if needed.

I have a Roland SP-540V printer and I keep getting pinch roller errors. I have cleaned the iris/sensors, hard restart, rebooted my system. Still is not recognizing the print media. I printed yesterday no...

hi have had the same problem, you need to clean the data strip that is connected to the main cutting head .its a clear looking plastic strip between 2 other strips you can't pull it all the way out so be careful. just wipe it with a clean cloth you will see black soot like powder come off it, as soon as you do this it should be back to normal, repeat weekly and you should be ok.
