I have an Endurance jumpstarter with 260 psi compressor. Part #END490. Nothing happen when I try to charge it. I purchased it a couple year ago but only used it two or three time. Did not used it for about one year; tried to use it this past winter but nothing happened. It did not even light up.

This is a possible problem. Check and see if the compressor has a fuse in it. If you have the manual it will tell you if it has a reset fuse if not check and see if the outlet there’s a fuse. I’ve had the same problem with the one I have. Hopefully it works if it doesn’t I’m sorry

The charger doesn't do anything. I've charged the charger then hooked it up to the battery (pos on pos, neg on neg) then tried to start the car. No reaction whatever. Is there something else I

It's possible you may have a poor connection from your car to your car battery. Check to make sure both battery terminals are on your battery tight. Tighten them if necessary, then try again. If either one was loose, that should fix the problem. Then there may be nothing wrong with your battery charger.

Can a Duralast jump starter kit start a car while plugged into an outlet?

The charger to a Jumpstart charges at a low rate (300mA to 500mA) and will not push enough current to start a car. Best to have Jumpstarts recharged every 6 months to be ready for emergency.

If you hook up the leads wrong and then get no response of any kind have you stuffed your jumpstarter or is there a fuse you could get replaced

there are no fuses to replace(other than a reset switch on the back) if you get no responce from the unit even when you charge it then the interal circut bord is fried. it will still deliver a charge to jump start until the battery dies. after that its trash because it is not recommened to charge the intermal battery with a standard battery charger it may explode since it is a sealed lead acid battery

Hello. I have a duralast jumpstart kit. After

Hi, usually after you drain the unit down it will take up to 4 hours for it to charge up 100%. but do not leave it on the charger all the time when not in use because this decreases battery life.
