Call forwarding to my cell phone

How do I call forward my call to a cell phone? The instructions are not in the manuel I received when I purchased the phone. I will just take them back and get my money returned, as I am not going to pay for something that I did not get when I purchased the phones.

Seeing the date on your post leads me to believe you won't see this response, but: When I do this, I choose to put my phone on speaker so I can hear the beeps, but ear piece is fine. Open your line. Listen for dial tone. Key in *72. Listen for the dial tone to return. You may also hear two quick beeps and then dial tone. key in the area code and phone number where you want the calls fwded to. then hang up. To check if it worked, have someone call your house phone or you call from your cell phone. If you've fwded to your cell: If calling home phone from your cell, and if the fwding is successful, you SHOULD get your cell phone voice mail. To undo call fwding, get dial tone again and key in *73. You'll either hear a quick double beep then a dial tone, or it will just go back to dial tone. Not sure but I think almost all phone carriers offer this free of charge. Also, you can probably find these same instructions in the front of your phone book.
If you fwd to your cell, keep in mind that any call you receive will use your minutes on your plan. Also, the only charges incurred by a caller to your fwded number will be if the call to your home was a toll call to begin with.

Call forwarding is not a function provided by single line telephones. You will need to contact your telephone service provider to have them provide the service for you as well as instructions for how to turn the service on and off.

Good Luck

How do i forward text messages

Create a new account with a third-party text message management client such as Google Voice, which is freeicon1.png to use. There is a link in the Resources section.

    • 2

Set up your cell phone to synchronize with the online client. Create a new online number that you may use through your cell phone if necessary.

    • 3

Add the numbers to additional phones. These numbers will automatically receive forwarded text messages when you receive them on your cell phone.

    • 4

Add additional accounts if you prefer. Google Voice, for example, allows you to forward text messages to your emailicon1.png inbox.

      God bless you

How does one forward incomming calls on a uniden 2.4ghz cordless phone?

Cordless phones can not 'forward' a call to an outside line.
Forwarding must be controlled by the ATT, Verizon, or landline provider.
Please contact your provider to determine if you have call forwarding feature built into your service package.

Then, follow the instructions of your landline phone provider.
Here is the instructions for Verizon:

Activating Call Forwarding
You can activate Call Forwarding whenever you want your calls to be sent to another phone, including a mobile phone. Once activated, all your calls will be sent to the forwarding number you request. Each time a call is forwarded, you will hear one short reminder tone on your home phone, but you will not be able to answer the call from your home number.

  1. Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.

  2. Press star.gif7.gif2.gif.
In some areas you must use 7.gif2.gifpound.gif
Dial 1172 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.

  3. When you hear the tone, set or change the Call Forwarding number by dialing the telephone number where you want your calls transferred.
You will hear the number you entered ring. When the number is answered, Call Forwarding is activated.

  4. If the call is not answered or the line is busy, hang up and call the number again within two minutes.
You will hear two short tones telling you that Call Forwarding is activated.

  5. Hang up the receiver.

Can u give me instructions on how to forwrd a message to others, wher to find the sent msges and draft msge. thanks

If you want to forward a message from history, you can press and hold the message to bring up the forward option.

Tap on the phone the up arrow and then Messages. The All messages screen opens, showing all your sent and received messages neatly grouped into conversations by contact name or phone number.

On the All messages screen, press MENU, and then tap Drafts. Tap the message to edit it.

Can I divert calls from this phone to another phone? Thanks MArk David

  • Figure out if your particular cell phone model has the option to forward incoming calls. You can do this by visiting your cell phone manufacturer's website or reading the manufacturer's manual that came along with the purchase.

  • Access the "Settings" menu on your cell phone and select "Phone Settings" menu.

  • Select the "Call Forwarding" option in the "Phone Settings menu. This option is usually found at the bottom of the "Phone Settings" menu. Selecting the "Call Forwarding" option gives you access to call-forwarding controls.

  • Switch on the "Call Forwarding" slider. The default position is off.

  • Insert the phone number you wish to forward your calls to in the "Forward To" field. This field most commonly lies below the "Call Forwarding" slider.

  • Exit the setup menu by pressing the home button. You may be asked to confirm/save the changed settings depending on your cell phone model.

  • Make a test phone call to the cell phone number on which you just enabled the call rerouting option. If the call is forwarded and received on the number you entered, it means that the "Call Forwarding" option has been activated.
