SOURCE: where is this fuse located on the LG refrigerator is displaying a ER DH code error

Hi. You have an Error Defrost Heater. Its taking too long for the heater sensor to open the circuit during defrost. You normally replace the heater, heater sensor and circuit board(motherboard) located on the back of the refrigerator in this situation. Check your mollex plugs and make sure they are connected tightly at the evaporator coil area. Sometimes they come loose. I reccommend replacing the heater and heater sensor located top right on the evaporator coil. This should take care of the problem. Need parts see me on ebay as user, themackshack. Good luck, Mack

SOURCE: Info on replacing drain hose on dometic model 2652

You will need to remove the fridge and set it on the floor or at least pull it forward enough to reach the top of the drain hose. There is clip that holds the drain tube to a nipple that sticks out of the back of the fridge that will need to be removed. Remove this clip and the drain hose should pull right off. Route the new drain hose down through the cooling unit coils to the door panel. Attach it back to the nipple with the clip and you should be good to go. The part number for the new drain hose is 2932749019.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

SOURCE: How many amps does a unit like this use?

According to the label (inside the hinge of the main door), it's 2.7 amps when running on 110 volts. It shows blank for running on 12 volts. However, with the anti-humidity switch on, it can use enough current to drain your battery. I was concerned about the battery draw when running the fridge on 12 volts, because the dealer told me it defrosts itself every 72 hours. Something has to control this, and probably uses some power.

I have a Dometic 2652 , the electricity to it is good, but the refrigerator lights on top will not come on and nothing works!

Either there is no 12V going to the refrigerator or a fuse is gone in the electronic board on the rear of the refrigerator.

I have a RM 2652 fridge in my 2003 trailer and my refridgerator/freezer does not work. The check light now comes on, what could be wrong?

If your refrigerator has had a recall done on it I would check the L shaped bracket that was added as part of the recall, as it may have pinched thermal flame sensor and driving may slightly reposition it to cause an intermittent short blowing your 15 a fuse in rv panel. Remove it from the retaining fingers and slightly reposition fingers loosely around black insulation sleeve and reattach it to the previous location with the 2 sheet metal screws.
Now if the refrigerator won't come on at all check the resetable hi limit switch that is riveted to your units boiler area a few inches above your gas flame area. It has a button you can press located in between the 2 connectors.
Check for 12 VDC at the nylon terminal block in front of your main board AND on terminal J4. If power is there follow to the resetable hi limit switch on boiler. If you don't have power at all you may very well have a control board failure. You should check all 3 fuses on the control board also. So check all 4 Fuses (ONE) 15A on the RV Panel and the (THREE) fuses on the main board. If any of them are blown you can replace them ONCE only. If it blows the 15A Fuse on the RV panel again your going to have to locate the short most often from the RV panel to the main board on the refrigerator. If the fuses on the mainboard blow your going to have to troubleshoot the refrigerator wiring.

Dometic RM2862 Can you reset the thermo fuse? Current going to it but nothing going out and wouldn't this cause the unit not to work at all?

It probablby has a timer in it. You can reset the timer by turning it clockwise, and the compressor would come on again. It is usualy located under the concoles where the setting button is located. Look for a small hole under that console. If a thermal breaker is making the compressor cut off, it is usually located on the compressor where all the wiring are going in, along with the starting capacitor. Usually if the compressor is overheating and making the thermal breaker go off, there is a problem with the compressor, or it is low on refrigerant. A low refrigerant will make a compressor overheat. Furthermore if the compressor has been being overload by low refrigerant, it will be damaged sooner or later, by overheating the elecmotor inside and causing a short. If resetting the timer don't work and it is indeed the thermal breaker, unplug the machine and get it service, which I hope the compressor is still okay.
