Comcast.net e-mail sign-in keeps on getting looped back to start page when entering information. wont let me log in. I only have this problem on my new Sony VAIO laptop. I uninstalled the security software before; which did not fix it. I added xfinity.comcast.net to my trusted sites. which did not fix it. Some setting on this laptop is 'busting' the xfinity.comcast.net log-in page every time it tried to sign-in;and I cannot figure out what. thank you
Go into system, find the wi-fi adapter and open it up. Choose uninstall and click on it. If windows asks you if you want to remove the software from the hard drive say no. Wait for uninstall to complete than shut down the computer, shut down, not reboot. Wait a couple of minutes than turn it back on, sign in and let windows find and reinstall the driver. It now should work. 9 times out of 10 this corrects this issue.

What version of windows are you runing? If it's pre xp it's probably nothing you are doing, windows's likes to corrupt itself over time. You can bypass your on keyboard volume by right clicking on the speaker icon in your system tray (lower right corner where your clock is) and click open audio properties, everything can be controlled in here. Good Luck

You will need to get XP drivers for the product, they can be found here.
SOURCE: Can't access my comcast e-mail.
FYI, I use Thunderbird as my mail client and rarely access the mail via the ISP site.
You can try that. Your pop setting should be mail.comcast.net
Your SMTP settting should be mail.comcast.net
Set it up with your username and password and check it out.
You may have to tell the program to use the same username and password for the SMTP server as the incoming mail.
