you have no need to update or upgrade your bios version anywhere if it work properly, but now if u have prob wid it,
1. try any other processor (P4, Dual Core, Core 2 Duo e.t.c)
2. reinstall any other version (0066 or 0052), just change the way of installation (this time install it from Floppy drive or other one, which is different to the 1st time u install from)
Try tis... 1) Re-installing windows will not fix the problem. Try re-installing the Ethernet driver (LAN). This driver should be on ASUS install cd.
2) Sometimes ethernet will just stop working. Then you should just purchase a new ethernet card. They are rather cheap. Check out Newegg website. You may have to disable onboard Lan in Bios.
to install mac os is simple in dg31pr motherboard but if it does not support to u mean. u have to change in bios some setting it is change hardisk mode from ide to AHCI
the processor is core 2 quad 2.4 ghz, and as far as i know it does support 64 bt os. also bios is updated to latest from intel site using flash drive. but there were no mentions in the bios about using 32 or 64 bit os
i did the bios upgrade but still not work after windows run
