Phone ringer how to set the # of times phone rings before answering system picks up?

Yes, there is an on/off for the answering machine portion of the phone. On default it's set to off til you set your settings and record your greeting.

Does your handset have a PROG button? Press that, then press the VOL+ button until you come to RINGER VOL: OFF. Press SELECT button, then use the ^ (VOL+) key until you get the desired volume level. Press SELECT again, then OFF. You're good to go.

How do i increase ring time for my motorola g 2nd generation
Go to Settings, My device, then scroll down to ringer. Slide the bar all the way to the right for ring time. Then back out of the screen. Test it to see if you like that better.

go iin option under ringers cheak to see whats its on before voise mail picks up 1 3 6 10 ? isnt it in the optimns menu or if u have seprate unit for voise mail cheak setting on that beofre it grabbs the call does that help

How do I set the ringer on DECT1635 to ring for longer
Hi there
Try this: -You can set or change the answering system options from any handset.
Just open the menu and select Answering Setup. Select Ring Time and Set the number of rings (6, 9, or 12) before the system answers. Toll Saver makes the system answer after 2 rings if you have new
messages or after 4 rings if you don't.

We have 4 RCA 25425 phones in our office. When someone calls, all phones ring. We only want main line to ring.
Page 15 of the manual shows how to turn individual phone ringers off using the "Ringer tone" setting option. RCA 25425RE1 User Manual Page 15 Hope this helps

on answering machine you need to do the following:
1. Press menu 3 times
2. Press repeat/rew or skip/ff until 4 is displayed.
3. Press set/ringer to store it for 4 rings.

Your done! set to 4 rings!!!!!

click menu 3 times. click either repeat/rew or skip/ff to set to either 2 for 2 rings or 4 for 4 rings or 6 for 6 rings or h5 for toll saver THEN press set/ringer to save your change. Answering machine will answer after 4 rings if you wanted the 4 & saved by pressing set/ringer. Thats all there is to it.

Look on the underside for a ring set switch. If not there then you need to go through the menu. Scroll through the various items until you get to ringer settings.

That is all it takes to get your 4 ring then answer maching picks up.

My kx t7730x doesnt have a ring but its receiving calls outside.
I'm guessing this is connected to a TA series system.

There is a ringer switch on the left side of the phone. Does it ring on intercom calls with the Auto Answer button not lit?

The 2 things that control the ringer for outside calls is the ringer switch and programming. Intercom calls ringing is controlled by the switch, Auto Answer button, and programming. If the switch is set to medium or high and the phone doesn't ring, try it at another extension. If it still doesn't ring, it's broken, if it rings, then you have programming issues.

Phone ringer
The box underneath the setup in the manual (mine's on page 13) describes what TOLL does. It can answer on the 3rd ring, the 5th ring, or if you have messages it will answer on the 3rd ring and not until the 5th ring if you don't.

You can hang up after 3 rings if the machine doesn't answer, because you have no messages. Other manufacturers call it TOLL SAVER.
