If the outside temperature is currently displayed, there may not be anything wrong with the we 1502 sensor. The HH indicates that the outside relative humidity is above 95%; that is a limit of the sensor's detection/accuracy range. You could try moving your we 1502 sensor to a dryer area where it isn't exposed to rain/other falling water or wait until things dry out.
I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model for the base of your weather system for more information. The HH message applies to most Taylor weather systems. The manual for the Weather Guide Indoor/Outdor 1731 system is available here: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71QBC5RdcNS.pdf .
Remove all batteries from outdoor sensor and weather station.
Press one of the buttons on the weather station at least 20 times to clear all memory.
Verify that the weather station is blank before proceeding (there may be lines painted on
the screen that will show when power is removed).
Leave both units without power for 15 minutes (very important).
Insert fresh batteries into the clock.
Insert fresh batteries into the outdoor sensor.
Press the TX button on the outdoor sensor to transmit RF signal.
Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet from the forecast station.
When RF connection is established, the temperature will appear on the station. Allow the
outdoor sensor and weather station to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong
connection.
The outside air temperature indicator's displayed temperature can be recalibrated. Press and hold the reset select button for 10 seconds . While you continue to hold the button, the display will scroll through temperature settings from +3 to -3. When the desired correction value appears on the display, release the button, and the recalibrated outside air temperature will be displayed. Each time a desired correction value is entered, it replaces the previous value. Give that a try mmkayyy:)
I'm assuming it just stands for "High Humidity". It wasn't raining at the time, but it sure had been earlier, so perhaps if it's over some number (like 90%), it just says "HH".
How to change temperature display mode on control panel LCD:
1.
Holding AMB button pressed, TEMP DOWN condition of 3 seconds or longer will shift the unit from °C to °F.
2.
Switching on battery power from off condition, the default unit, °C will be displayed.
