Maytag Oversized Capacity Plus Washer MAV3 Model MAV5000AWW will not complete cycle
This unit has been working fine
Medium load of wash
Cycle started
Water filled and agitation started
Dial pressed to temporarily stop cycle Climbed on the lid to retrieve clothing and added to load
Washer would NOT start again
Pushed the capacity lever to reset and then moved to Super
Additional water filled but the cycle has not continued
Rotated dial several times and tried unsuccessfully to reset
Unplugged from electric and plugged back in
Water and clothes are still in the basin
How can I restart or drain the washer
Maytag suggested calling a service technician but that is plan B
Thanks

What is the maximum capacity (laundry weight load) of your washer? And how much weight do you consider a large load, that you are placing in the washer?
Dry will not start, light is off. Power is on and working fine to dryer - is there a reset button?
Performa oversized Capacity Plus Model #PYE3360AYW .
Need to know a little more info. Need to know if this noise starts when you first turn it on (during the fill up cycle), once the actual washer starts (wash cycle) or when it goes into spin cycle.
