SOURCE: Won't take in water

Plug off the mains. Unscrew the top, you will find the valve wher the water comes in. Shut off faucet in wall. Unscrew hoses to change valve. Note which hose goes where.

You can check the inlet valves with either an o'scope or a multimeter. Unfortunately, the control module PN: 661081 controls the voltage to the inlet valves and costs around $240.

Sorry, to give you the bad news.

F02 and F09 - valid for Whirlpool Duet front load washer, HE3, HE3T Kenmore,...

Hi.

This tip is valid for valid for Whirlpool Duet front load washer, HE3, HE3T Kenmore,Fagor, amd more washers built by Whirlpool group.

F02 means that there is a drain problem, and F09 is overflow condition. When you get both error , it is usually because of a faulty pressure switch. Better testing the drain system as described below , before replacing the pressure switch..

To start try clearing the error by disconnecting the power cord or tripping the circuit breaker for five minutes. If you can clear the error, then the problem was just temporary.

The drain pump must be accessed as the drain hose is probably clogged. Also drain pump must be tested and eventually replaced.

If you get the error , but there is no water inside, and drain system is working correctly, then test and eventually replace the water level pressure switch, that determines when to start/stop fillng and drain.

If the drain lines are not clogged, the drain pump can be tested by reading ohms at solenoid (contacts on valve), and by energizing the pump directly.

If the pump is fine, then test the pressure switch by jumping its contacts, and advancing cycle to drain to avoid overfilling.
If you get both the codes, the cause is usually the pressure switch

Since one of the codes is overfilling, check if the inlet valve is opening and closing during the cycle, by observing if water starts and stops flowing into the machine, or by reading volts at inlet valve or at electronic control contacts. If the valve stays open or leaks with no volts from timer, then the valve is faulty. If timer is opening the valve while draining, then the timer board is probably faulty.

If water and sensor are OK, then it can be a problem with wiring or control board. Electronic control board causing this error is not common.

Test all other parts first.

You can find parts and diagrams by entering model number here.

Test and repair must be done by a trained person. Call the phone number listed on the user manual if you need to contact a qualified technician.

Regards.

LG Fuzzy logic 6.5kg WF-T7519PV washing machine.Sensor panel error PE where E is flashing indication with sound.

This PE error or fault code indicates that the machine is overfilling with water. This washer is equipped with a water level pressure switch. As the machine fills, the pressure increases on the switch, at the set pressure, the switch cuts power to the water inlet valve and the water stops flowing into the washer. If the pressure switch fails to sense properly, or the water inlet valve fails to shut off the unit can overfill. This situation can also be caused if the machine does not drain properly. First, check to see if water ever enters the machine when it is turned off. If so, replace the water inlet valve. Next, check the drain line to be sure it's not clogged or kinked. Next, check to see if the drain pump is working properly and removing the water from the previous cycle. If all of those check out, you may need to replace the pressure switch. If no water is going into the machine, check the water inlet valve operation.

Getting f20 error code, how to check flow meter operation

Check for stuck socks or something just under the door seal at the bottom of the drum. Check filter for blockage and all outlet pipes. Check the pressure switch hose for any holes as it may have rubbed on the drum and created a small hole in it. Make sure flow meter is level and not at any angle.

I have Duet front load washing machine and over the last 7-8 years have battled he FH code.I have opened the machine numerous times, tried to flush and back flush the water valves/solenoids gone back and...

Hi

Error code FH appears when No water is detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip is not detected. You may need to check the continuity at the inlet valves. If the valves are fine then check whether inlet water hoses as they might be plugged. Also check for inlet water screen at the valve. However, if the water is entering into the washer then the Drain pump might not be working. Also inspect the Pressure Switch hose whether it is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch. Also check hoses for leak and inspect the flow meter. Hope this helps...

Code fh is displayed

The FH code in the owners manual talks of a water supply . The F/H code means the unit isn’t detecting water fill at the flowmeter. The flow-meter sits just in front of inlet valve and is attached via a hose, and off to the left of the CCU. If your washer is filling ok, check the wiring from the flow meter to the control board; I’ve seen this harness jiggle loose and cause problems. check figure for flowmeter location:-- ca83b83.jpg
No water detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected.

If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.

Or

If the control has turned the water valves on and after 8 minutes the flow meter has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off and the error code will flash.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
  • If there is no water in the unit:
1.Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
2.Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
    3.Verify inlet valve operation
  • If there is water in the unit:
    1.Verify Drain pump operation
2.Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch
  • Verify there is not a siphon problem
  • Verify wire harness connections to:Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check all hoses for possible leaks
  • Verify pressure switch operation
  • Verify flow meter operation
  • Verify CCU operation.
Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.
