just download "Motokit "software.& install it in ur PC.Select Data/fax mode in usb setting of ur mobile.
then open the MOtokit software & connect ur phone..Software will automatically detect ur phone.
then of top left side of the software select " mobile" & then"info"..it will give u the Unlock code & security code of ur mobile...

we would like to inform you that please try following steps to transfer Contacts from Phone to PC.
Using Motorola Phone Tool Software
• Select Data Connection i.e. Main Menu > Setting > Connection > USB Setting > Data Connection
• Connect your handset with PC through USB Data Cable.
• Run Motorola Phone Tools > Phone Picture will appear on your PC.
• Click on Phonebook icon which will be available on the right side of your Phone Picture
• Click on that and transfer all contacts on left side in MS outlook or outlook express
• After transfering data clsoe MPT disconnect the handset and connect the another handset and follow the same process but in this case you have to transfer data from MS outlook or Outlook express to phone means Left to right.

You cant access your memory card if you are in data and fax connection. You have to change the default connection as memory card then you can access it and there is no need to create a kjava folder its already in there its not visible by motorola phone tools.

the problem with the slvr is iTunes gets in the way when you connect it to your laptop or PC. You need to turn off iTunes in order to connect to the Motorola Phone tools that is installed on your system. If your Phone did not come with motophone tools then buy it at this web site or ask for it at the cell phone store you got your slvr.

when you have installed the software, unless it has changed since i last saw it, you click transfer files and then a split window should show up, in each you browse for where the file resides on your phone, whether the memory card or your phones internal memory and on the other side, where you wish the file to be transfered to, and in between there there are a pc icon and a phone icon with arrows pointing eg. from phone to pc or from pc to phone. Select the file or pic you wish to transfer and then click either icon to send the file.
