On my tascam cc-222MKll it gets stuck reading opc

The door won't open might be a sign that there is a bad belt in the mechanism as the pickup may also be driven or positioned by the same belt- It may need to be looked at by a Technician.

Tascam CC-222 not producing quality CD's Help

You need to verify that the signal going IN to the recorder is ok. There are a number of ways you can do this, the simplest and cheapest is to get another recording device you know works, that takes the same connectors, and test using that. Something like a cassette deck, or whatever a church member may have at home. If that works, you've determined that its the Tascam, if not, then you need to trace back to see where the signal failure is occurring.

I keep getting Disc read errors! when I put a CD-R in my Tascam CC-222. I thought the problem was with the discs so I bought more ... Sony CD-R. Still the same problem. Help

Either the player doesn't except this format which many don't read burnt discs. If it plays factory made discs, than it doesn't except burnt formats. If it doesn't read any discs, than the laser eye may need to be cleaned with rubbing alcohol and cotton swab
