Dual SIM Standby not working

Hello, i have this D880 cellphone and i put 2 sims on it of different companys, but problem is that i cant have them both active at same time, only the primary one works and the other says "No service" i can swap wich SIM to be the main (i dont mean to phisically move the SIM cards) and that way the other become secondary SIM, then cellphone reboots and i can use the other line but first one with "No service" now. Swap process its quite long, with rebooting celphone then initializate SIM, etc and i always loose calls and time with that. Cellphone its supposed to work with both SIMS on standby at same time. Please help what should i do?

Hie i have lost my sim card and ineed my old number replaced, can u help?

Only your own provider can give you a new sim with the old number. You have to go there and ask for it. When you want to use the same number, with another provider, buy a sim and ask them to put your number on that sim. You have to fill in some paperwork when you want the number with another provider. Best thing you can do is visit a phone store and there ask for a sim. They will explain. When you are in the states, keep in mind, some phones can't work with others providers.

How to retrieve the phone lock of samsung d880

hello,

If you want to unlock your phone put a sim from another company then type *#9998*3323# it will reset your phone. Push exit and then push 7, it will reset again. Put your other sim in and it will say sim lock, type in 00000000 then it should be unlocked. Type in *0141# then the green call batton and it's unlocked to all networks. This code may not work on the older phones and some of the newer phones. If it doesn't work you will have to reset your phone without a sim in it by typing *#2767*2878# or *#9998*3855# (not tested)

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

thanks.

HELP! My new cellphone quadband won't read my AT&T SIM card!!!

It could be possible that the area you are in doesn't have a quadband signal. Under settings on your phone go to network settings or similar and try tri-band. Hope this helps!!
