If there was a bang and a burnt smell then you have destroyed the breadmaker. It would be cheaper to buy a new one than trying to get it repaired. You should have connected the breadmaker to a stepdown transformer from 240 volts to 110 volts.
?.....was the bang when you tried to start the bike...or as you turned ignition on?...if when you turned ignition on sounds like you need to check wireing...if bang was when you truned eneing over it could be unburt petrol that banged when bike tried to fire up !!...
If the internal fuse has blown, if you connect the power lead loosely and move it about, you should not be able to hear any crackling sound of electricity. If you do then it is more likely something else other that the internal fuse. Generally, a loud bang is either the fuse or lamp.
If the machine also did not work again, you have blown an internal fuse or the boiler heater has failed. If lots of steam came from inside the machine when it went bang, you have probably blown a hose, or a safety valve blew off because the heater failed to regulate temperature. Good luck, Saeco are expensive people!
