Everything has disappeared from my SD card and when I use a recovery software, all of them only seem to find the photos before them.

My camera, along with the SD card, fell in seawater but I wiped the contact tips with alcohol. When my camera dried, I plugged it in and I couldn't view the photos, so, I plugged it into my MacBook Pro and found that the name of the SD Card was the name given to every "my camera-formatted-SD cards".

you can try some mobile phone data recovery software. You can see
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOSOGjaVd80
It tells the steps how to perform data recovery.

If above does not work, you may have to format the memory card (use quick format), and then use above mentioned software to scan again the memory card and recover your files.

As mentioned, you'll need to use recovery software. But first thing that's very important, take the card out of the camera and do not use it further until you've recovered the pictures. Below is a YouTube video of your freeware options, and here's more info on how to use these options, and where to get them.

3. Download a photo recovery software, recommended one is asoftech photo recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)
