Hp pavillion Sir, I have a hp laptop( hp pavillion).I don't have the recovery cd with me and I need to format it.How should I go for it.

    do u have thw windows cd and the drivers cd???these are the most important

How to reformat ze2000?
This computer can be formatted with the recovery disk. If you still have them, put the dusk in the machine, then restart. Usually should automatically boot from CD, if not either look at the screen or press F2. If you need more help, contact us at: [email protected]

Did you format the drive or just repair it"??

Access BIOS and have a look in case that key stroke is disabled in there.

Sounds like the CD has overwritten that part of the HP registry....they have their own.

How do I start system recovery on my hp pavillion n5415 notbook? On my desktop Compaq Presario all I have to do is press F10 and system recovery starts.
Yes but with a notebook they send out a reovery cd or they have a recovery program in windows under HP.
