I paid $50 for a complete tune up. I picked up the machine and it was working fine. Then it ran out of gas. I added more gas and from that time, it shuts off after few seconds. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I called up the repairshop and they told me it could be bad gas. Any advise on fixing this problem would be appreciated. I don't want to spend more money on this.
Hello:
It Sounds like the Gas was Bad or there was Water/Trash in the Gas.
Remove the Carburetor Bowl and Check for Water/Trash.
On Some Models you can Use a Combination Wrench and Remove the Bowl Retainer Bolt and Allow the Bowl to Drop Enough for the Gas to Flow and Flush the Bowl in this Manner.
**Be Carefull, Please. Gas is Dangerous.**
On Other Models you have to Remove the Carburetor from the Engine for Servicing.
