I've installed a PCB, Mixer Assembly - CD Mix-2/3 704-MX3-5872. and I have a problem with a 2 wire harness (r) red & (b) black that attaches to the PCB, Control/Display (1st version) - CD Mix-2 704-CDMIX2-3174. I don't know if the (r) wire connects on the left are right side. When I connect it either way it lights up...I just want to connect it correctly, to avoid future problems.

I would remove the back panel, and get access to the soldering of the connectors that are giving you trouble. resolder them, and see how you go. Get back to me here if this does not cure it and we shall get into it further

You need a new adaptor...the wires have lost their connection in the cable or plug which isnt user servicable

Also on the PCB, Control/Display (1st version) - CD Mix-2 704-CDMIX2-3174 the marking is CN202, IR1 & IR2.
