If your telephone wont stay on and wont charge, then you need to carry out some test to know where the fault is from. First, test your battery if it is working by inserting it in another phone then charging it for about 3 hours then power on the phone to see if it will come on, if it does, then it means the battery is alright. But if it does not come on, then you know the battery is bad and needs to be replaced.

Now test the phone by inserting a well tested battery inside the phone then power it on, if it comes on, then the phone is alright, but if it does not come up, try to prop the battery so it will connect tightly with the terminal of the phone, then power it on, if it comes on, then it means the battery was loose and just need some propping, but if it still does not come on, then there is a problem with the phones power panel.

Test the charger also, by trying to charge another phone with it to see if it will work, if it charges, then it means the charger is alright and if it does not charge, then it means the charger is bad and need to be replaced.

After carying out these tests, you will be able to tell which component is faulty and needs replacement.

This is because when you replaced the battery it might have reseted thehand set.Now again you must register your hand set to the base.

The registering procedure will be given in your user guide of your phone.

The backup battery is located inside the phone and canno be replaced by normal methods. the phone needs be disassembled and the battery are solded on the board.

the lifetime of these bateries are very high, maybe 5 or more years, and the charge occurs every time when you charge the phone.

Try to leave your phone charging for more than 3 hours, and if the battery dont charge, try a master reset on it.

If ater all, the battery dont charge, maybe you make some mistake or shorted some circuit. Take apart your phone again and re-check all the steps to reassembly.
