"C1 = Average current limit Or Instantaneous current limit.
If a status signal comes back from the motor controller that a current limit has been breached, the unit will return to standby mode and display either CA for average current limit trip or Cl for instantaneous current limit trip.
Average current trip occurs if there is a 2 second average of current draw greater than 5.55 amps at the motor windings.
Instantaneous current trip occurs if there is a spike of 26 amps instantly at the motor windings.
This may signify problems with the drive motor, thermal protector, or motor controller. Over-loading the unit may cause this problem."

Here's what the manual says:
Changing the Dial Mode (Tone or Pulse Dialing)
(HS1 only)
Your phone can communicate with the telephone network in two different
ways: tone dialing or pulse dialing. These days, most phone networks use a
method called tone dialing, so your phone comes programmed for tone dialing.
If your phone company uses pulse dialing, you need to change your phone's
dial mode. If you don't get a dial tone or can't connect to the telephone
network, follow the steps below to modify your phone?s settings:
With the phone in standby, press and hold [cid/menu].
Press [vol/ / ] to move the pointer to select DIAL.
Press [select/channel] to set the phone to pulse dialing.
Press [end].
Return the handset to the base. The handset communicates the new
setting to the base, and the base activates the setting on any other
handsets.
Hope this helps out.

Try starting the washer up without a nozzle clicked in and purging water through the pump, shut it down and install the nozzle and restart, if the motor lugs then it is making pressure, if the pump squirts water out of the by-pass immediately and or constantly it may be a stuck bypass and not a bad pump.

Meaning you had stuffed it full one time and then it was hard on the motor, you will have to change the drive motor most likely...
1) When the phone is in standby mode, press and hold the caller id/menu key. 2) Press the vol/ / key three times to select Dial. 3) Press the select key to toggle between Tone and Pulse. 4) Press the end key or return the handset to the base unit to complete the setting. The handset returns to standby mode. This phone also has a feature that allows you to use Pulse dialing to make calls, but allows you to switch to tone dialing for automated systems (like “Please Press 1 for English) here are the steps for that: Initially make your call with the pulse dialing mode. Once your call connects, press the */tone key. Enter the desired number. These digits will be sent as tone dialing. Once the call ends, the tone mode is canceled and pulse dialing mode resumes.
1. To set the clock to leave the unit in standby mode. (Plug in the AC cord to a wall outlet without switching unit on).
2. Press SET button for about five seconds until AM--12:00-- stops flashing.
3. Press down TUNING button to adjust hour, and up TUNING button to adjust minute.
4. Press SET button to confirm time set.
If this unit shuts down after you turn it on, it is going into stanby because the microprocessor is not seeing the proper pulses from the mode switch. this could be due to an out of time mechanism because of a broken gear, bad mode switch, the loading basket is out of time or broken, or the capstain motor or the cylinlinder motor is not sending the PG and FG pulses to the microprocessor. These can also be due to a power supply voltage missing. You can check the voltages with a service manual and make sure they are not low. You will also need to get the mechanism manual and check the timing of the mechanism. Then check the mode switch you can get a manual from here http://www.servicemanuals.net/results.aspx?brand=15&model=HRS&type=SM&pos=281 Good Luck
