PLDED3273A-B remote will not turn tv on or off
If TV can be switched ON with its front panel controls, and not with the remote control; the fault should be with the remote control itself. If so, check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. If it is universal remote control, after replacing the batteries, you have to set it up with set up code to your TV brand. Check the battery contacts in the battery compartment for any rust or dust accumulated. Clean it well before replacing with new batteries. Does it work with the panel switch. If it does, your remote control is not working. A simple way of checking your remote control is to press any key and see the Infra Red LED through your mobile phone camera. You will see the Infra Red LED glowing and flashing. If it does'nt Your remote control is bad. Good luck to you.
