SOURCE: problem with yamaha rx-c2092

Hi, try to unplug this unit from the wall for a minute or so, It may just need reset. If it still does this I would say that you have a loose wire inside where the power supply is. I would not recommend working on this unless you are computer savvy.

SOURCE: How to do factory reset on a yamaha rx-e810 amp

There are two types of reset. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the device from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Set objNetwork = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Network")
strUserName = objNetwork.UserName
Set oShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
strUserName = oShell.ExpandEnvironmentStrings("%USERNAME%")
strHomeDrive = oShell.ExpandEnvironmentStrings("%HOMEDRIVE%")
LocalDir = strHomeDrive&"\E810\PD810\Export"
REM msgbox(strUserName)
REM msgbox(strHomeDrive)
REM msgbox(LocalDir)
ServerDir = "\\epcdhe.com\public\profiles\"&(strUserName)&"\E810\PD810\Export"
Set objFSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
If objFSO.FolderExists(LocalDir)=false Then
objFSO.CreateFolder(strHomeDrive&"\E810")
objFSO.CreateFolder(strHomeDrive&"\E810\PD810")
