Where can I find a replacement motor for waring DMC20 drink mixer

Same with ours. Repair guy said it was the gear box. But I cannot find parts for this model. If you do please answer.

Here is the exploded parts list fr a K45, perhaps it will help you replace the stripped gear inside the gear housing. It is probably the gear which is driven by the motor shaft.:

I found out from a Waring rep that the motor housing includes the upper and lower units. The company I ordered the housing from didn't include the upper unit. Waring's solution was to return the lower housings and re-order the housing unit from a better company. I haven't heard from the company I ordered it from yet although I've sent them several e-mails.

My solution was simple. I cut the lower units so they'd fit as an upper unit to replace the upper unit

I can't believe someone hasn't answered this simple question!!!
Simply unscrew the agitator and slide the splash guard disc off.
The lower housing slides right off after you unfasten the three screw holding it to the upper housing.
