Print with cyan band on left side - Samsung CLX-3170FN All-In-One Laser Printer

Well, since you've tried everything, my recommendation is to try to clean the contacts with dry cloth in the left or right side inside the printer where the cartridges place in. see the result

try to clean the laserwindows of the printer.

Most likely coming form your cyan imaging unit. I would open the front cover and slide the cyan unit out and ensure that there is no extra cyan developer on the top of the unit. As well, manually rotate the roller in the direction that it normally spins and inspect for any horizontal or vertical banding. If you spot any bands of color, try to manually clean them off with a soft rag or cloth (do not use any solvents.) If after reinstalling, the bands reappear, then you will need to replace the cyan imaging unit as the developer has gone bad.

the problem is not with the printer but it is with the ink that might be damaged, this is located inside the printer

maybe its out of ink or clogged

Check to see if you waste toner recycling for the cyan is working or being blocked. Check the transfer bias roller next to the cyan drum. Return you cyan imaging unit for a warranty replacement. Check for obstructions to the cyan developing unit. Check that the cyan IU was put into the machine properly. Check for toner leaking from the entrance to the developing unit or from the toner cartridge.

With I could post a solutions but I have the same problem! Cyan has horizontal gaps, rest of the colors seem to be ok. I've realigned and cleaned the heads many times.

go to the control panel and then printers and fax. double click your printer and click on the tab and button to "clean print heads". after doing this, click on "align print cartridges". this will fix the streaking problem you have

u better check the haftone test first,when printer starts to pict the paper,just let the printer to print paper,stop the paper before entering the fuser unit located back side,if the output is perfect,then it is the problem with the fuser assy,pls revert for further solution or query
