My jbl creature speakers are omiting a low buzzing sound, the LED's on the satelite speakers are on but the plugs are quite tempremental and i have to wiggle the plugs in order to get them to stay on, the volume buttons do not work and there is no output from all of the speakers apart from this low buzzing sound, I have taken the sub unit to pieces to see if there are any obvious problems (ie; blown capacitors etc) and cannot see anything, im wondering if these speakers are fakes because i cannot believe such a good quality speaker company like JBL would produce something of such poor quality, ive also noticed that the specifications sticker on the underside of the sub woofer unit is slightly blurred and even with a magnifying glass some of the smaller text is unreadable, am i being too picky? or have i bought some poor quality copys? i would be very greatful for any advice, thanks in advance, Marty.
Hi I have had my JBL speakers for 2 years now. Recently the sub woofer has been making a buzzing sound but it continued to work ok. Now the speakers have also stopped working! Is there a solution to this problem? Would be grateful if someone got back to me.
I could play my music from my desktop but i can't anything on my myspace or youtube. i did the reboot and you guys say but i still can't hear anything i see it play but i don't hear anything.
Try this Double click on the volume control icon in the system tray.Click on "options"--"Properties".Select Line-in and Mic.Mute them. I hope this solves your problem.

Thank you Frankzjm for such a rapid response.
The print quality on the label is of nominal quality, and some of the smaller text (ie; the electrical hazzard warning) is quite blurry and unreadable , even with a magnifying glass, I noticed (whilst dismantling the sub unit) a couple of scribbled initials on the inside of the lid of the sub unit, One in green and one in red, whether this has any significance im not sure ! i have a pair of JBL Monitor 4208's and the label on the back of them is very clear, even the smallest text is readable,. I am an electrician and am quite technically minded and have repaired hundred of electrical items in my time so i guess you could say im am a bit of a fixer, Marty .
yes I think it is fake one but you maybe fix it please tell me the brand model I will check some detail and give you a solution later
how you judge it is fake one:
1) the lable clean and good print quality
2) there are manufactory mark series/date/model no. etc.
if no it is fake one
do you like repair urself?
