Set password for text messages

Hello

Your phone is probably on silent or you havent selected a tone for your text messages. Go to your tones,select a particular ringtone you want to use for your text mesages select "options" and select ''set as message alert tone" and select ok.

The LG Shine will only save messages to the SIM card after the internal phone memory is full (150 messages). This all happens automatically, and as far as I can tell, there is no way to force the phone to choose. Also, note that the SIM card will only store 30 messages. You can select the options menu

call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options

I have an LG Shine and I don't see any way to lock your text messages

You cannot use personal tones for Message alerts and to keep your texts, copy them to the SIM card.

i used this for mine. it works alright for recieving and sending. but im still having trouble recieving from black berries.
go to menu
settings
connectivity
network
network profile

bearer: GPRS
APN: wap.cingular
user ID: blank
password: blank
primary server: 0. 0. 0. 0
secondary server: 0. 0. 0. 0
then press ok.
now go to menu
messaging.
message settings
multimedia message
network profile
profile name: Cingular MMS
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
internet mode: http
proxy ip: 066.209.011.032
proxy port: 80
connection: media net

>Options

im sorry but there is no mode for a signature setting there is on the 3g lg shine.

check if u have enough balance to send the message.

plz tell me the pasword of lg ke970
