Your tabet should have some kind of a File Manager in the apps main menu. Open it and look for the Download folder which should appear when you open the internal SD icon.

Open the Download folder and you should see your downloaded files. You have the option to select one or more of them and the selected ones you should have the option to delete. Use the three dots in the upper right on most file manages to choose delete, copy move etc. Be extra sure you're in the Download folder before you delete anything, though.

The instructions for the ebook capability are on page 16.
Ebooks in text format, that is files with a .txt suffix are mentioned as being supported.

You can copy .txt files onto the device just as you can copy music or video files.
The player will display print on the screen for reading when you access those files.

I personally download ebooks to my computer and copy the ones i want to read on the go to my media player.

Other ebook filetypes are.lit, .htm, epub, and .pdf among others, but there is no mention in the manual if these are supported.

There are ebook conversion programs that you can run on your computer to convert to a type you can use.

Here's how to fix the problem:

1. Shut down Microsoft Reader:
   a. From the Start Menu, tap "Settings"
   b. Select the System tab.
   c. Select the Memory icon.
   d. Tap the Running Program tab.
   e. Highlight Microsoft Reader on the Running Program list.
   f. Tap the Stop button.
2. Tap OK.
3. Start File Explorer
4. Navigate to My Documents/Annotations
5. Select and delete the .EBO file for the problem title. The correct .EBO file is the file that begins with the eBook title. If more than one .EBO file exists for the problem title, select and delete each one.
6. Start Microsoft Reader again.
7. Open the eBook. Let the device remain turned on, allowing Microsoft Reader to repaginate until it completes. This process should not take more than a few minutes. Microsoft Reader needs to perform this operation just once for each eBook.

How do I know if Reader is still handling background pagination on the title?

1. Open the eBook in question.
2. Begin reading the content.
3. On the bottom of the Reader page, tap and hold the page number for a couple of seconds — then release it. The Riffle Control should be displayed: its appearance may take a second or two.
4. The Riffle Control shows you where you are in the eBook. The leftmost number is the first page of the eBook; the rightmost number is the last page of the eBook. If the rightmost number is displayed in red, Microsoft Reader is not done with background pagination. If the rightmost number is displayed in black, Reader has completed pagination.

If attempting to connect to the Reader (eBook) Store by Sony on a computer that is connected to a network through a proxy server, contact your IT support specialist for assistance in configuring your proxy server settings to allow access to the Reader (eBook) Store by Sony. It is not possible to adjust these settings through the Reader (eBook) Library software.

1. Check your security software settings. Some security settings may not allow the Reader (eBook) Library software to access the Reader (eBook) Store and will need to be adjusted to allow access to the Reader (eBook) Store. Determine if the security software is causing the issue.NOTE: Various different Internet security or parental control software may block access to the Reader (eBook) Store. Some software may request a password to unblock the store site. If a password is requested, enter your password to access the site.
   
   1. Temporarily disable the security software.
   2. From in the Internet Explorer software, on the menu bar, click Tools , then click Internet Options .
   3. In the Internet Options window, click the General tab
   4. In the Browsing History section, click the Delete... button.
   5. In the Delete Browsing History window, in the Temporary Internet Files area, click the Delete files... button.
   6. In the Delete Files window, click Yes .
   7. Attempt to access the Reader (eBook) Store Web site through the Reader (eBook) Library software.If you are able to access the store with the security software disabled, the security settings will need to be adjusted. If you are still unable to access the store, continue with troubleshooting.
      
   8. Re-enable the security software.
   NOTE: The steps to adjust the security software settings varies by manufacturer. Consult the help files of the software or contact the manufacturer for assistance. A list of contact information for some popular security software.
