SOURCE: Red Ring / System Crashes / Doesn't Start

Hi Kashman, The industry is trying real hard to come up with a solution. Microsoft has extended the wrranty for people like you. Problem is that I hear they just send you a refurbished unit that will do the same thing eventually. Best plan i have heard is to do things to keep the Xbox as cool as possible. Currently I am not sure what to do with the Slow boot up. Keep it in open air area and out of sunlight. It helps to allow a fan to blow on it during play.

SOURCE: On and off line every 20 flashes.

Have you attempted to connect the internet after the router stops flashing? Do the lights start flashing again? If you do, then it would be considered normal.

If they don't and you do not have an internet connection, try the next step.

Next, plug your computer straight into the modem - Do you have an internet connection now? If you do, your router may require configuration.

SOURCE: after 20 mins of play console turns itself off and red light flashes

There are some known issues with the PS3 overheating.

Be sure that there is plenty of room around the unit. ie; not directly under or over another piece of electronic equipment, it needs room to breathe!

There are numerous suppliers of "intercoolers" and fan systems to help cool the unit available for around $20.00.

If you have a small fan, you may want to try it on the unit to be sure that this is indeed the problem!

Good Luck!

SOURCE: Pilot light won't stay lit

Look for dust and lint. Look for them in places where gas should be freely flowing. I had a similar problem with an Empire Corcho wall-mounted propane ceramic catalyst heater. First it was the pilot light, then the #2 ceramic mantle. After horsing around with the gas lines and pressure regulators and trying to re-aim the pilot, it all turned out to be dust and lint in the gas passages. A little dust bunny in the brass pilot tube gave me a pilot light the shape and color of a banana. One puff of compressed air, and I got back my razor-sharp pilot. And some dust in the chimney of the #2 burner kept it burning blue/yellow and blistering paint off the upper surfaces of the heater. A bit of cleaning with a shop-vac put that right. "Passive" heaters are very much prone to this sort of problem because they rely on convection currents (i.e. LOW velocity) to get the job done. Convection currents are notorious dust collectors, as in COBWEB CITY.

SOURCE: Red light blinking on PS3

If your having this problem I know how to fix it but only for about 30-45 seconds.
Okay this is what you do.

1.If your ps3 is turned on press the red button , it should turn green then yellow ,beep and blink red.
now do this 3 times without turning it off.

2.Turn your ps3 off.

3.Turn it on while holding the eject button.

4.Now your ps3 should stay on ,(like I said for about 30-45 seconds). Also the fan should be on.But then after a while it turns back off.And that's as far as I got.

(It really works if you do it right)

Giro plus - red light flashes rapidly, tried priming with no success. Anyone have any answers?

Have you tried draining off some back-pressure. That often is what the rapid flash means. Try pushing the hot water button then opening the steam valve. A few seconds after the pump comes on to push water out, the red light should go off. If it takes more than a few seconds, that's probably not the problem. hope this helps.

Karcher sc 952 having problems with no steam coming out.

this machine uses an electrical solenoid to open the flow of steam from the heater..... the switch is in the hand trigger and the valve on the machine.... one of these is at fault

If you have a Karcher then you should always post your machines barcode.
The karcher barcode is on a silver sticker and is usually 15 digits long. Example 156987400000123 is actually model 1.569-874.0 and serial number 00123....

Saeco Giro II Red Light stays on, even after removing watertank, dredge drawer and brewing unit, and replacing. Red light does not flash after removing dredge and brew unit.

Had the same problem, if you used steam or hot water, make certain the steam knob on top is all the way back in the close position, if not the red exclamation sign will stay lit.

Flashing lights on my saeco italia espresso machine

I had the same problem, two green flashing lights with one red (water) all 3 would just keep flashing and not turn solid. No coffee can be made or hot water. I could not pump prime. The problem was the steam wand was blocked with old milk residue. It needs unblocking or you will never pump prime. I could not unscrew the steam wand...so I let it sink in a glass full of hot water for a few minutes and then turned the water knob counter clockwise to push out the softened residue. After that, everything was good. When water started flowing out of the steam wand, the red light turned off and the green lights turned solid. The obvious answer to why you can't pump prime is there is a blockage somewhere and best to start with the steam wand. --Mabada

You can't manually reset. The machine will have to do it. I had the same problem, two green flashing lights with one red (water) all 3 would just keep flashing and not turn solid. New Saeco Odeo Go has solid red exclamation mark, doesn't budge

You have to 'manually' prime the pump: When the red exclamation mark shows, press the water switch on the right side (the picture of the water drip), then open up the steam nozzle and let the machine pump hot water into a cup until the red light goes out.
