How do I know if my system meets minimum requirements to operate the game smoothly

I just bought lost planet extreme condition for PC. My computer is a little older so I don't know if it is up to the minimum requirements. Therefore I have not yet opened the game as I want to be able to return it if it will not work on my computer. I've read what CAPCOM says the min. requirements are and here's what I'm not sure of. 1. CPU has to be Intel Pentium 4 (supporting HT technology) or AMD Athlon 64 3500 or greater. I have two computers - one is Intel Pentium 4, but I don't know what "supporting HT technology" means. My other computer's CPU is AMD Athlon 64 but only 3200.... so does that mean that this software won't run because the min requirements say 3500 or greater. 2. Video Card. Needs VRAM 256 MB, DirectX 9.0, Shader 3.0, NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or greater. How can I check to see what my video card is? and if it's not exactly one of these will the game run choppy or will it work ok? 3. My OS is XP so I'm ok there. 4. 512 MB RAM required. I have 768 MB RAM on the Pentium computer and only 468? MB RAM on the AMD Athlon computer... but I could add RAM if that's the only thing I need to do that would make the game work on that computer. 5. Hard Drive 8.0 GB... no problem on either computer. 6. Sound needs to be DirectX compatible, or DirrectX 9.0. How do I check to see what I have? 7. DVD ROM drive -- needs to be DVD9 compatible. How do I know what I have? I just need to know if I should return the game if it is not going to run smoothly on either of my systems or if it will work, even I just add some RAM to the AMD computer. Any advice / clarification would be appreciated. Thank you.

When you put the disk in there should be an option on the disk that allows your computer to tell you if it can take the game or not

My winning eleven 9 opens but hang when i want to set my formation.

  1. Update your game: Check if there are any updates available for the game and update it to the latest version. This can help fix any bugs or issues that may be causing the game to hang.
  2. Check your system requirements: Ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the game. If your system does not meet the minimum requirements, it may cause the game to hang or crash.
  3. Close other programs: Close any other programs or applications that may be running in the background while playing the game. This can free up system resources and help the game run smoother.
  4. Try running the game in compatibility mode: If you are running the game on a newer version of Windows, try running the game in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows. This can sometimes help older games run more smoothly on newer operating systems.
  5. Reinstall the game: If none of the above solutions work, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. This can help fix any corrupted or missing files that may be causing the game to hang.
Remember to always follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety guideline

How can I tell if a game will run on this computer?

Check its Windows Experience Index score
The Windows Experience Index is a measure of how capable your computer is. To calculate it, Windows analyzes the hardware and software on your PC and then assigns it a score. The higher the number, the more likely your PC can handle games and other demanding programs.

When you buy a game, make sure the minimum score recommended by the publisher (typically printed on the box) is less than, or equal to, the Windows Experience Index for your computer. That's one way to ensure it will run smoothly.

Check its hardware requirements
Even if your computer's Windows Experience Index score is good enough for a particular title, it's possible that an individual piece of hardware-a video card, for example-on your PC isn't.

That's why it's also critical to study the minimum system requirements listed on the game packaging and confirm your computer meets or exceeds them. Few programs put a heavier demand on your computer than games. If your computer's specs fall short, a game might run sluggishly-or not at all.

The components game publishers are typically most concerned with are:

Central processing unit (CPU): Make sure both the CPU speed and model meet the game requirements.

Random access memory (RAM): Many games now require at least one gigabyte of RAM.

Video card: Your video card must have a certain amount of memory and have a compatible chipset (publishers usually list the make and model of compatible cards). Cards must also typically support DirectX 9 or later.

Hard disk: Most games require a certain amount of free space.

I just bought it for my son. We have done the initial set-up and we inserted the game disc but it doesn't play?

Hi..

To play a game on PC, you need to pass few bunch marks.

  1. The Game should be Properly installed and registered.
If the Game is not installed into Computer yet, Please insert the Game Disc. There will a setup file (Installer) to install the game. Many commercial games requires registration before we could play the game.

  2. Your PC must meet the hardware resource requirements for the Game.
Many Games are Resource intensive. Many need extra hardware resources like a Good Graphics card, Physical Memory (RAM) etc.
Many games will specify their minimum hardware configuration required to play the game smoothly, on their Disc Packs.

  3. Your Game and Operating System should be Authentic
If your game disc is not authentic or legal, Operating System will prevent the game from running. The same will do for the Operating Systems also.
So if you got the Disc illegally, you may need to crack or patch it run.

  4. Auto running Feature should be turned on.
Many Operating Systems features Auto Running the Disc. That is, if you put the disc on computer, it will run automatically without any user interactions. If your Current Operating System does not have Auto Running Feature (Many new Operating Systems have this feature and its set to On by default) or its set to disabled mode, you can browse the disc and run it manually.
You can find the executables in the Disc to run the game. Usual Autorun executables have name one of Installer, Autorun, setup.

  5. Your Anti-virus may interrupt the game.
If you have an anti-virus software, then it may interact with the game's normal play and stop it from playing. This is due to the fact that, many Anti-virus Software mistakenly think the game as a virus and stop it from running.
So if you have an anti-virus software, please set it to Game Mode or Disabled Mode

Aspire M1641 - can't play games (super slow)

There could be several reasons that is so:
  1. The PC may not meet the minimum requirements for the game. These include screen resolution, graphics card, memory, sound capability.
  2. The graphics card may not meet the requirements of the game - memory, graphics rendering capability etc.
  3. The operating system may not meet the requirements of the game eg ActiveX, DirectX etc. All these are related with graphics/display capability.
Please check the MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS for the game and make sure your PC meets these.
All the best!
