I have a amana dryer model no.: NED 7200TW will not dry. All the sensor and setting lights are on but nothing happens including the time which is running down but the drum is not turning - you hear a click but nothing is happening Dryer less than a year old.
Just happened to mine also. The problem was that the Idler Pulley came loose from the drive belt. There is a switch on the idler pulley so that if there is no tension on it, the motor will not start and you will have the symptoms you describe. To reattach the Idler Pulley, remove the back plate surrounding the dryer exhaust. This will give you access to the Pulley. If the belt broke (unlikely with a new dryer such as yours), the fix is more involved. This dryer is the same as the Maytag MDE6700 - you can do a search for a service manual for that model and you can see the details. Hope this helps.
