Hello, I am having a problem with my Plasma monitor. While my Mom was watching television there was a loud pop from the television and the set went dead, we were having a rain storm during this day but I had the television set up to a surge protector. I took the back of the set and found one dead fuse which I have replaced with no change to the television.
The set will not even have it's normal red stand by light on that it is receiving power. I have also been using a multimeter on the capicators and haven't found any bad one's yet. There is no pyschical bulging I can see. I think it might have a problem from a power source. I took a couple pictures of the back of set with my digital camera for reference.

Thanks to anyone that can provide into this problem and help this disater become fixed.
Here's where you can get the service manual:

The main power board is going to be the one with the power cord attached to it. Basically, it should be the same board with the fuses on it.

Dsacoo86, I don't have a service manual, I don't know where I would even get one from. I also dont know which board is the main power.
Could you point out which one is the main transformer? I havent taken the multitester to that, I have check almost all of the capicators though.
Do you have the service manual yet? It would have everything you need like schematics, part number list, and test points.
I believe the problem would be somewhere on the main power supply board.
Is the main transformer testing out ok?
It may have shorted out causing that loud pop.
