SOURCE: steamer working only intermittendly

Hi
Have you tried to descale your machine. Remember to use the correct descaling powder and make sure that it is totally dissolved before running the descale program. In the menu, make sure that your water hardness is set on 4. descale more often than not enough.

SOURCE: The brew unit light is steady on and I cannot get

HI
Open the door and remove the dredge drawer, then the brew unit. Slide the brew unit back in , then push on the upper left side of the brew unit until it clicks. Close the door and push the dredge drawer back in with 1 finger on the right side of the dredge drawer. See if that worked. If it did, then loosen the nut behind the coffee dispenser to release tension on the brew group, then tighten again. Lube the receiver tip on the brew unit.

SOURCE: When I push the button

The water pressure is high possible because the grind is really fine, however water is not supposed to go through the valve unless it is open, you might have to replace the steam valve assembly.

SOURCE: When I try to use

Did you load the circuit prior to starting as detailed in the manual?

How long have you had this machine for and do you descale on a regular basis?

Gaggia Titanium. The steam wand is hot but coffee is not.

Question edited for clarity, plus 'espresso', not 'expresso'.

The main tank heater has failed or part of its controlling electronics. These machines are nothing but trouble and only the dealers can service them.

Hi Bill
What happens when you do a tea ? (hot water only, NOT the steam button) do you also get little water ?
The fact that you are getting steam is good as there are 2 heating systems in the unit.
Have you ran the descaling recently (if you do not use filter ) ?
If you have or use a filter the problem is likely to be at the rear of the machine, however the back contents all the power and you will need to be happy to do some stripping down of the machine,
In the back you have the pump, valves, heater etc.
I am just about to draw up a flow chart of the water system inside the machine and have it published online (couple of days).
Are you happy to strip machine down ?

One side of the expresso machine is not working

Check the nozzle at the end of the steam wand, use a paperclip to clear, if you can get hot coffee then the steam wand is just blocked.

Leaking water from steamer

For the grouphead check the basket there might be a slight bump around the edge that is preventing it from making a good seal when it contacts the gasket in the head. If the Double works fine then the gasket is not the problem.
For the steam wand try flushing wand for 3 seconds just before steaming, if that does not help with the watery milk, then the boiler is not getting hot enough to produce steam.

Don't know how to work the steamer.

I have the same Conair Cuisine Ultra expresso maker as you; its an old one. Make sure the coffee grind is in the spoon/filter cup and as the water heats it will brew the expresso. Simply twist the the knob at the top of the silver steam valve stem will let out hot steam for you to frosh the milk.

No steam!

Ran into the same problem on mine just after using the steam, so it definetely wasn't clogged... hope this helps.

Just try running the expresso maker through a full cycle and then try the steam again. Not sure if the machine air locked or something, but the expresso cycle appeared to get the water flowing again and then it had no trouble producing steam.

Hope it works.

Briel espresso machine

Try opening the frothing valve by turning the dial and force water through it instead of steam by pressing the middle, coffee button. You may be experiencing vapor lock. Once the water comes through the steamer valve, turn the steamer knob off and release the coffee button. Then try the steamer button with the steamer dial open. This may do the trick.

Isomac expresso machine

We have owned an Isomac Millenium for ~2y.

In the first months, we encountered low water to the brew head, although both the steam and hot water wands had decent pressure and flows.

Adjusting our grind, so that the coffee beans were coarser helped immensely--for awhile.

Then the problem gradually reappeared as an extremely slow brew time. Our machine was still relatively new, so we shipped it back to our place of purchase. It came back working just great and interestingly the filter in the resovoir was now filled with the filtering particulate it did not come with.

I am surmising, that however great the engineering is on the Isomac, manufacturing leaves something to be desired. Do not let your warranty expire. Pay the shipping and fix your otherwise great machine.
