Question about Casio FX-115ES Scientific Calculator
Been struggling with this calculator (casio fx-83ES as mentioned) for a few years now, and although I can get decimal answers by pressing the S<=>D button, I was wondering if there was a way of making this permanent. I hate having to press the button every time. Fractions are no use to me! (eg 7 divided by 2 will give 7/2 instead of 3.5 like I want it to give)
Any help would be appreciated!
You want a line output
Shift > Mode > 2:LineIO or on the graphics one its sometimes 10:LineO etc.
look for something with line in it

Yes there is, press shift mode, then line 10. It will make it permanent.

If you want to keep the natural display qualities, (ie the fractions look like fractions, exponents loook like exponents etc.) clear your calculator(shift-9, 3) then just hit the S<=>D button above the delete button to convert to fractions/decimals
