We have used this unit for over 25 years and have not had a problem until now. The left cd deck shows a "disc error." I pulled the cover off and cleaned the reader with a cd/dvd cleaner. Unfortunately I am still getting that error message. What now?

Cd player says "no disc" all the time when a cd is inserted

You need to manually clean the cd reader " the eye" with a q-tip and some cd cleaner let dry and this should solve the problem.. Good luck!

Their is a CD stuck in my 2004 Dodge Durango VES system. I have tried everything I can to get it out with no luck. My system will not even go in CD mode. I have taken the fuse out and that didn't work...

Had the same problem. Find a Bic pen, take it apart. The "plastic rod" which holds the ink is small enough to insert in the same slot as the CD. Insert it on the far left side of the player and jiggle it around. Then hit the eject button. I have had this problem twice and both times this solved the issue.

Rover 25 CD player wont play MP3 format discs

It sounds like your Rover dosn't have MP3 capabilities. You will have to use standard audio CD format (not data/MP3 format). You will only be able to burn about 15-20 songs but they will play in any cd player.

I have a problem, minidisc deck mds je 480

HELLO
C13 is what is called a "Protection Error". This normally happens because the if you look on the bottom edge of the minidisc itself you will see what looks like a plastic strip or tab at the bottom left.
Pull it to the left for it show fully and this will enable you to record onto the disc. Move it right, and this will PREVENT recording from taking place.
If you have the unit connected up by the optical lead and you're trying to record the audio from a DVD unit, the MD deck is probably telling you what you are trying to record is copy protected. I never use the optical lead, just hook it up by good quality interconnects and the recording you get is superb. Both DVD & CD audio!

Toc code keeps comeing up on my kenwood kdc x5589

Hi, toc error means that the laser is struggling to read the Table of Contents which tells the unit where all the information is on the disc, it may be something as simple as the lens needs cleaning or something as complicated as the laser needs replacing, but you could try running a cd disc cleaner through it first. Good luck......
