Links on segmented metal bands are held together with split pins. The pins can be delicate and easily damaged if the proper tool is not used and you may mar up your band. Harbor Freight Tools sells an inexpensive watch pin tool, if you want ability to DIY. Many jewelers and jewelry repair shops will fix you up in a few min for minimal or no cost in my experience
Many stores such as Wal-Mart, Target, etc. sell replacement watch straps in their jewelry department. They may even replace it for you. Also many jewelers will have replacement straps and will install it for you. It looks like this watch has a very wide strap, so if you can't find exactly what you need, you may have to contact the watch manufacturer directly. Google Diesel watches.
mcdevito75 here, If your Casio has a metal band, you can remove 1--2 links, this takes a special tool called a link remover, best bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area. If your Casio has a strap, the buckle may be able to move up the strap to fit your wrist, if so, move the buckle up the strap to fit your wrist and cut offf the exccess strap. If not, you"ll have to replace the entire strap. Hope this helps.
mcdevito75 here, I imagine you mean a Band (metal) they can be shortened by removeing links from the band itself, you"ll need a specific tool called a link remover tool. they are available on ebay. However by the time you get the tool and the time to do the work, and if you don"t do any work on watches, the best bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area to remove these links. Hold onto the removed links for later replacement. If it"s a Strap (material) on your watch, say, leather, rubber etc. simply cut the excess strap at an angle with scissors.
