I have a Chamberlain Whisper Drive Security+ garage door opener that was bought about 6 months ago where one of the two remote hand units is no longer able to open the garage door. I have reprogrammed this unit according to the instructions in the manual both at the motor unit and the wall control unit without any success. The one thing I have noticed is that programming the remote at the motor unit appears not to work as I do not get the blinking light to indicate that the code was learned. Yet programming at the wall unit indicates that the code was learned but it still does not open the garage door. I removed the codes for all remote units and reprogrammed both remote units at the motor unit. The remote unit that has been working was successfully reprogrammed at continues to open and close the door. The remote unit that failed still does not work. I bought a new remote unit and can not program that either at the remote unit or the wall control unit again with the same scenario. The motor unit does not indicate that the remote was programmed yet the wall control unit indicates that the code was learned. Any ideas or suggestions. Thanks.
THE NEW REMOTE MAY NOT BE THE CORRECT SYSTEM FOR THE UNIT YOU HAVE.
THE ONE THAT DOESN'T WORK MOST LIKELY NEEDS A NEW BATTERY.
NOTE IT MUST BE REPROGRAMED AFTER CHANGING THE BATTERY

I have a similar problem. We have a vacation home, I program my remote my car remote, the keypad, everything works. My brother comes the next week and his car remote, which he programmed last month, does not work, so he re-programs his car remote. I return, and now my remotes and the keypad do not work. Any ideas?
