My hp designjet z2100 photo printer is taking about half an hour to switch on it shows FSCK on start up please help me
Try clearing all previous jobs from t he hard drive- it only does File System Check when a corrupt file has been identified on the hard drive and so it is re-writing all the information from the eerom back to the hard drive ( usually a sign of a failing hard drive) suggest you order one on-line ready for replacement. (you will need a HP Z2100 hard drive from HP a standard Hard drive will not work without some tricky copying/backup proceedures.

08:11 error = no communication between formatter and front panel
Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.
If the error persists, you are going to need a tech to do the following:-
Check that the Front Panel interface cable is not damaged and is correctly connected between the Main PCA and the Front Panel.Check that the connections between the Formatter and the Main PCA are not damaged and are correctly connected.
If the System Error continues, replace the Formatter
If the System Error continues, replace the Main PCA
If the System Error continues, replace the Front Panel

If the problem occurs from one computer only, remove printer from Printers and Faxes and renistall the driver.

Using the front panel, run diagnostics on the SENSORS.
The media sensor or the out of paper sensor might be jammed in the wrong position.
