You might try putting a butter knife underneath the sprayhead to remove it. If this doesn't work, then please contact customer service and request a tool that can be provided to remove the sprayhead.

My bunn nhb makes a continuous "boiling" sound even after coffee has brewed.

Check with Bunn and see if there has been a recall. I did in Canada and they sent me a new machine complete with some Tim Horton's coffee! http://www.bunn.com/
Good Luck!

I have a Bunn coffeemaker and it is not that old. It leaks from the bottom when you fill it with fresh water for a new pot of coffee. The number is NHB code date is 204305. Do you have any ideas?

The brewer probably has a bad seal or gasket. By the date code, your machine is 5 years old. If you call Bunn Customer Service they will be able to offer you an exchange of your old brewer for a new one at a reduced price.

Grounds in coffee. am using bunn coffee filters and still have a mess in my cup and in filter

Are you using a finer ground coffee? Or do you have a water softener, use filtered water or bottled water? If so, please call customer service to get a flow restrictor sprayhead which will eliminate this issue.

Coffeemaker

The Bunn coffee machine has an internal tank used for holding approx three potfulls of water at just below brewing temperature. When you add water for a potful, the thermostat senses cold water and starts the brew heater. The water level inside the tank comes up and goes through the sprayhead. This "surge" of water, that you call drips is normal. The hot water stratifies to the top of the tank, just like an electric water tank in a house. The internal pot heater kicks in and boils the water already in the tank, raising the water level in the siphon pipe to the sprayhead until the reservoir under the add water opening is empty.

Bunn Coffee Maker Problem

if you can unscrew the sprayhead. use a new baby syringe and squirt water in the pipe that goes down inside the tank [sprayhead] turn the coffeepot on its back so the tank drains into the sink and flush out the sprayhead pipe. you may be able to purchase a cleaning spring for bunn o matics from nelson appliance on the web.
