That's usually caused by a bad lamp. However that chassis is famous for having bad caps on the power board. you should take it to a tv repair shop to look it over, they charge $50 and they will tell you want the problem is.

if its a dlp its most likely the color wheel that is causing the problem. Post your model number and i will assist you.Please respond to this same post.

No reset button, you may have a bad lamp. Look in you owners manual and which light is flashing it will tell you if the lamp is a possibility.

Hi, This could be several things as the power goes everywhere. Long distance troubleshooting so hang in there. First try a cold reboot by unplugging and replugging after 30 minutes. If nothing check P1 on the light engine for the following voltages: pin 2 5vdc, pin 3 3.3vdc, pin 9 3.3vdc, pin 12 12vdc. If any of these are not good it is the formatter board. If all are good, does the color wheel spin at all. If this is OK then check J4 on the light engine, the ballast enable line should be 0 vdc in stby, .5 vdc at turn on, and 2.5 to 3.25 vdc in run. If good, is the light engine trying to fire the lamp? If not, inspect the J4 connector and the lamp power supply, If they look OK then the lamp ballast is probably bad. This will give you something to do for now, Good Luck!

You need projection lamp.

You need a new lamp... part number 260962 (RCA) or Philips 260962RL.

Its sounds as if the lamp has exploded or the color wheel has. I will post a link to a site that has a trouble shooting manual on CD called RCA DLP Disc #1 which covers every DLP in the ATC line which is what your model is. They have it either in cd form or they will email it. Its a very good resource for fixing your own set.
