All lights out on Faber Axia cooker hood

Bulbs are good but none of the lights work. Looking at bulbs someone has installed one 35w 12v bulb but other three are 20w 12v - maybe transformer was overloaded. Will not light with 4 correct 20w 12v bulbs but does give a sort of humming sound. Transformer is kaput I think but how do I find it and replace it please?

Hi I have an Ikea cooker hood/ extractor fan, fan is working but lights ( 12 V. GU4 ) are not. Just replaced the bulbs but no joy.....

Without the MODEL Number... and the 12v GU4 lamp... I am going to HAZARD A GUESS that your lighting has an internal TRANSFORMER... (most likely)...

But there are less expensive things to check first

Since this is now a GLOBAL SITE you will have to disclose your Line power... (USA: average household range hood = 120V 60 cycle AC current)...

ERGO:
transformer is a 120v to 12volt output (live measurement)

For walk up TROUBLE SHOOTING
"Multi-meters" are a must...

Opening assumption
THAT YOUR NEW BULBS are good... is understandable... but possibly wrong (I'm just saying).

Power OFF
- Verify bulb continuity
- Verify switch operability

Happy hunting

Burned out light on bertazzoni hood

Here is how I fix this problem in case someon is still looking for an answer: 1. Turn power to hood off at electric panel 2. Remove light diffusers - these are the round glasses under hood covering the light bulbs. Turn the light diffuser counter clock wise to remove 3. Remove the burned out light bulbs 4. Install the new light bulbs

When i fix bulb then it produce big light and then off.

Your voltage regulator is faulty. Alowing too much voltage to blow your bulb, unless the bulb is the wrong voltage of course.

Problem changing halogen bulbs on perla rangehood

The more I worked with it, the more I discovered that the real problem was that a screw was not all the way screwed in and it was preventing the panel from sliding. Another problem I may have is finding the glass covered halogen bulb.
