I can't bring up my account. I don't have any e-mails, but I want to send out my new account info to my friends.

If FB can\'t help, nobody else can. Your account is yours as long as you can keep your password safe. someone tried to hijack my email address, by sending mails something was wrong with my account and to make sure they could set things right I had to send them my password. If I had answered those mails I would have lost my account for sure.

If you try to make an account with your account name, and FB says it is already in use, and you don\'t have the password. you can be sure you can\'t access it anymore. FB will not kick the current user out of the account.

Perhaps the account could be accessed by you, if you only knew what password you gave it.



To make sure someone is using it. try someone to become friends with your account name and look who is answering.

Before setting up a Facebook account, you must have an e-mail address.

The next step will be a security check.

You will need to go to the e-mail address you put and check for an e-mail from Facebook.

It will bring you to a new screen.
The first step will be to see if your friends have an account.
It can check it through your e-mail address book.
If you don't want to do that now, you can skip the step.
That option is at the bottom of the page.
Step 2 will ask you for some profile information.
It will ask what high school and college you attend or attended.
This will help find classmates.
Click next and it will bring you to a page with photos.
You can then add friends from school.
You can skip this step if you like.
Step 3 is to join a network.
You do not have to join a network.
A network is a city or school you would like to be associated with.
You can skip this step if you like.
Your profile is now made! You can add photos if you like and add and change any information.

Check a tester email. Send an email (subject test) from your account to your own account (means same account to same account). If you receive, it means it is fine. If not, check your mailbox size. it could be full. Clean unecessary emails in bulk. try test again. Hopr New Year will bring you lots of new emails :)

when you have opened up your yahoo mail, go down you ID as it shows (e.g. Hi Jolly) on its end there is a drop arrow, click it, it will bring a down menu - follow it to "account info" and click it. It will again ask you to log in and when you do it; automatically your account info will come and you adjust and save it accordingly.

I think you left your account unsigned out and some one accessed it. After which he/she changed your account settings or information (password and security question).

But remember that when you signed up (originally), you were asked to insert a back up e-mail address. Do you remember it? Go to it (in the account info or settings) if he/she never changed it, you will be able to access his/her new password entry. If you use it and it opens, please change immediately. You can then sign up for a new e-mail address and send all your mails there, then redirect all the e-mails to your old account to your new account. Don't use this old e-mail as your contact while opening up a new one.

However, if some one changed even your contact e-mail used during signing up, then you wont be able to again access the old account. Some one could have hacked into your account.

Send a mail to the same address- your address saying that strict action will be taken and the matter is reported to the CYBER CELL for investigation. Also ask all your friends to be wary of this so that they are not fooled. Request your friends to send strong mails to the same id , and once the mail is back to you change the password and in future do not disclose any info by mail of you id.

check for pop/mail server config. and smtp/mail server config. is in your online account info as email config

Send an e-mail to facebook customer service and check if they can have the account reinstated for you. If that doest work create a new account and you can retrieve your friends list from your e-mail account updated on facebook (every time a friend request is sent to you or accepted facebook sends a confirmation to the mail account updated on FB). You can check the mails from facebook and add those friends again.
