It went through the wash, i cant get it to turn on (which i knew it wouldn't) but is there any way to get the 500 songs i had on it off of it, because their not on my computer and dont remember all of them, but i want them. Thanks for your help!!!
Have the unit be dry. If you can get a disassembly manual it better to dry the unit disassemble. But a high probability its battery is a goner.
The moment its get wet, you shouldn't try to switch it on, that could be disastrous to the unit. Let the unit still off or be off.
If your lucky after it is dry it will start. But as I've said battery could be dead or the unit is also get damage. Even only the battery is damaged, replacement could be hard to find.
So try to let it dry before opening it.

The player needs to be charged via the USB connnection on your PC. If it doesnt fit, try the USB ports on the back. If its not working/not charging, please test the MP3 player on another PC.
SOURCE: How do i put songs from my samsung yp-u3 on to my
Hi I understand your concern. Let be more specific about this issue. If the songs what you have in your MP3 player is DRM protected, it can't be transferred moreover it won't work. Cause of DRM conflicts.... But you can transfer the non-protected songs into your computer. All you have to do is
Connect your device into your computer.
Go to My Computer.
Find the device, which is detected there.
Right click and Explore it.
Where you can find the folder which is corresponding to your musics.
Explore it and transfer into your local HDD.
Kindly revert if any issues in that. I'm happy to help you..
