From my remote control I can select shuffle but it will not lock in and reverts back to shuffle cd only. I want random play selection from all cds, not just random play per cd. To be more speiifc, the player should play a song from one cd and when the song is done, player selects another song from a differenct cd and continues ths until all songs from all cds have been played at least once.

you might have reset to shuffle again

If you have the remote..load all the discs you wish to play..press the cd play button...then if you wan't to play the discs in order press the "continue" button..then the cd play button...if you want to shuffle the discs...select the "random: button on you remote....I hope the was helpful.

I think you have selected Repeat mode. Turn on in to Shuffle mode.
& play songs back to back not repeated.

You need to go into your Play Mode ssettings and select "Repeat All" to turn off this feature:

Repeat All ).
1. From the main menu, select Settings > Play mode.
2. Use the VERTICAL TOUCH STRIP to scroll up or down the options.
3. Press § to select an option.
4. Press § again to deselect an option.

Unplug the power for a while and load all CDs. It could solve the playing old paylist.

on the remote push the random button twice. the first on will be random on the disc selected. when yoiu push it twice it's full random

The point of buying a 5 disc CD/DVD player is that you can let the machine play randomly through all 5 CD . Where is that button ?
